Pinot Noir - 2004 - Rimu Grove

Masses of cherry, dark red plum and currant flavours, ripe sweet fruit with earthy, savoury notes a hints of spice.

Elegant toasty oak characters add structure and complexity in balance with the fruit.

Silky texture with a long and generous finish.

Merlot - 2002 - Te Awa

A well-balanced wine with concentrated but restrained flavours and fine tannins. This wine displays the classical varietal characteristics in its ft generous attack with cherry and plum flavours. An underlying mineral note gives an added dimension and distinction on the nose and palate.

A subtle dark chocolate character comes through on the finish along with the cherry and mineral notes.

Syrah - 2004 - Aspire

Hand picked and matured for up to 15 months in French oak barriques to produce a very approachable fruit driven wine with dry, savoury tannins.

Excellent with all red meats and most particularly venison.

Di Sotto 1999 - Vin Alto

Di Sotto is an Italian style wine made down under. New world wine making techniques accentuate the fruit but also include Italian grape varieties to give this wine also an Italian flavour.

Tasting Notes:
Notes of rich black cherry with slightly smokey characters on the nose.
Velvety tannins balanced by subtle dark chocolately characters. A dry, rich, smooth elegant wine, with mouthfilling  flavours and lingering finish.
